Teamwork of Ottawa International Poets and Writers for Human Rights (OIPWHR) , the United Church of Canada and the Amnesty International: English branch The English Version In the name of God the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate Canada - Ottawa on December 6, 2009 Via the Amnesty International Canada His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Hosni Mubarak Phone: 01120223901998 or 01120227958016 E-mail: webmaster@presidency.gov.eg His Majesty the President of Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, the Esquire After greeting and appreciation I would like to inform your Excellency that I am one of the researchers, writers and poets interested in human rights and liberty. I have established a worldwide website Ottawa International Poets and Writer for Human Rights in order to defend human rights, pride and dignity, as well as to expand the culture of freedom, justice, fraternity, equality and world peace. Human beings, who God assists and to whom he has granted a mind, are different from the rest of the creatures in order to protect the earth and the space without doing any harm for human beings and the environment surrounding it. His Excellency the State President We recognize your generous efforts and your keenness towards human pride and dignity, but there are faults that you may have ignored, including the issue of the science student, Mr. Abdul-Karim Nabil Suleiman Amer. A prisoner at the Arrestee of Arab Tower. He was arrested for publishing articles. He is accused of breaching and abusing your Excellency and to the tolerant of Islamic law. Mr. Abdul-Karim Nabil Suleiman Amer has been jailed and assaulted him physically again and again. Such acts and judgments are unfair. These behaviours abuse and distort the image of Egypt as a land, government and people. We please your Excellency to order urgent matters to the competent authorities to free Abdul-Karim Nabil Suleiman Amer from prison, as well as edit or delete unfair rulings being committed against rights of the Egyptian people. Then, to rehabilitate prisoners of opinions psychologically and scientifically and liberate them in order to grant the freedom to use their potential power and energy in building and constructing Egypt. Sir, we know that building men is more difficult than building factories. Finally, My best regards to His Excellency President Mubarak and his wife the First Lady of Egypt Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak, the Egyptian people and the distinguished government. Mohamed Tawfik Al-Mansouri, Ph.D.
