- Description: Al-Mansouri Mohamed Tawfik Ph. D., is a Canadian-Arab writer and researcher born in Yemen. He holds a doctorate degree in economics and agricultural science. His writing and research are published in many international scientific and non-scientific magazines and newspapers in Arabic, English and Polish. He was a member of the Yemeni military and is a researcher into Yemeni affairs. In this interview, Dr. al-Mansouri tackles the issues of corruption in the military, criminal behavior by regime officials, the impact former Saddam officers are having in Yemen and the official relationship between the government and the jihaddists among other topics.
