The Banff Conference on Plant Metabolism 2010 will bring together an international group of scientists working in diverse areas of general and specialized plant metabolism. Major topics covered at the conference will include: plant hormones, lipid metabolism, cell walls and lignin, terpenoids/isoprenoids, nitrogen and sulfur metabolism, metabolism of floral scent and fruit aromas, metabolite transport, metabolic regulation and whole metabolic systems. The conference venue, the Banff Centre in the Canadian Rockies, was selected to provide a collegial environment for sharing ideas and excellent opportunities for outdoor recreation.
