The rest of Ontario just celebrates the long weekend a time to make the most out of the summer long weekend which this year overlaps both July and August.

Fort York Celebrates Simcoe Day
August 2, 2010 John Graves Simcoe founded the Town of York (Toronto) in 1793 and was the first lieutenant-governor of Upper Canada.
