Starting over is not easy when you’ve lost the love of your life.

In the novel Blue Night, Blue Day, author Liz Hogarth is finally beginning to piece her life back together following the tragic death of her husband, famous photographer Ryan Hogarth. After years of depression, her writer’s block clears when she moves to a small town for a fresh start. But Liz is keeping secrets about her husband’s death, even after she meets a new man in her life, the owner of a blues bar. Their shared love of music could be the start of something meaningful. Should she open up or will her secrets scuttle her new beginning?

Meet the Author

Andrea McKay enjoyed a respite from her job as an information management consultant while creating her first published novel. She enjoys nature, camping, gardening, and blues music. She lives with her husband, Andrew; their two dogs, Sam and Rosie; two cats, Mr. Bill and Ivy; and several anonymous fish in Arnprior, Canada. Like her main character, Liz, she has also experienced writer’s block.
