You are invited to the first open house for the Mid-Centertown Community Design Plan (CDP) study. Working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, the CDP process will help to define a new vision and action plan for the area. The CDP will guide the City and community in responding to development proposals and the intensification goals of the Official Plan; identifying locations for public realm improvements; defining appropriate building heights and form; and , establishing a strategy to reinforce Mid-Centertown as a great place to live and work.

The study area is bounded by Kent Street on the west, High way 417 on the South, Elgin Street on the east, and the Central Area boundary ( mostly Gloucester street ) on the north.

This open house is you opportunity to learn more about and comment on:

v Existing conditions: What does the Mid-Centertown area look like now?

v Priority issues: What can to create a more livable community?

v Getting involved : What is the CDP project and what happens next?

Displays will be available for viewing at 5:30 p.m. A presentation, question and answer period and group discussion will follow at 6: 30 p.m.
