In the Sura of Poets No.26, and Ayah No. 224-227 God Almighty says " And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them. Do you not see that they wander about bewildered in every valley? And that they say that, which they do not do. Except those who believe and do good and remember the LORD much, and defend themselves after they are oppressed; and they who act unjustly shall know to what final place of turning they shall turn back''.

Confrontation of languages is an old and continuous phenomenon, and it is a part of civilizations' clash. It appears implicitly and explicitly in minds along with our practical life. It shows in the paradox of the responsible people during the decision-making, the dilemma, which influence on the image of our countries and its' beautification and transparency, and shows the new tendency toward new forms of discrimination. It is true that language binds people together, where other differences in ethnicity and background segregate and isolate them from each other. It is also a reality that every person believes that his language is not only the most useful and expressive tongue, but also the most important one. Moreover, when groups of people feel that their language is threatened, they feel that their existence is in jeopardy too. In this essay I will explain my analytical point of view, which depends not only upon contemplation and experience in the field of learning, teaching and practicing the languages, but also on researching, analyzing and measuring the behaviors and attitudes of randomly selected group for this purpose. Its objective is to demonstrate and express the multilingual-environment of teaching and learning tongues and their dialects at government and non-government institutions and establishments, and to depict and scripture the image of the languages' harmony in daily activities. In addition, to understand and apprehend the influence and the effect of the social powers, intermediaries, ties and their correlations. We see obviously these facts not only in the French- Canadian society, but also in Amazigian society, North African countries, Kurdish society in the Middle East and Spanish society in United State of America. On the other hand, some African and Mediterranean countries have three to five tribal languages and hundreds of dialects, which stymie the development. Therefore, thirty percent of the African counties decided to use French as an official language. Likewise, societies, which widely have used the English language as official tongue has helped them, solve organizational, social and economic problems as shown in India and Pakistan. Having one official language contributes to an administration, which is free of conflicts. I found that there are many psychological, ideological, political, economic and social aspects of this conflict, and it is rooted to the ancient historical periods. Educational policy and the rights and freedoms could be abused, misused or misunderstood, consequently; it produces a field of contrasts which result in many problems and obstacles. I bring into being also that there are organized and random conflicts among the languages of the majority which is represented by the official languages of English and French, and also among the majority and minorities groups of the community's languages in Canada's society as well as the others of the World characterized by the corruption and bureaucracy. In addition, most of the communities are negatively active in maintenance, integration and promotion of their languages and cultures, which means in one hand that they have tendency toward discrimination, chauvinism and nationalism, and on the other hand, they often become vulnerable to mental illness such as seclusion, isolation , reclusiveness etc., and mostly they become merely assimilated by the system too. The public and the government's opinions about this issue have been divided to numerous outlooks. For instance, thinkers and specialist of the social, psychological and anthropological sciences realize that it is necessary to preserve one's language. Others advocate that the establishment of a single language that is accepted by all leads to unity. In some counties , that are multicultural an ethnic unit realizes that it is guaranteed by exercise of its particular lingo. However, a wise government allows a language division to converse in its native tongue. Finally, I would like to say and recommend that it is essential to provide monolingualism to the government organ of administration in order to eliminate the bureaucracy and the corruption. An administrational separation the two official languages is needed to enhance the image of the country and to save money and time. It is also necessary to direct some communities to the maintenance of their languages and promote their cultures positively. There is a need for further studies upon the clash of the languages in order to make it less work and cost consuming without negative impact of the basic or ethnic languages. Truly, it is the time to declare and put into practice that the languages are blessings and not curses.

The greatest possibility is being divided into three states where conspiracy, enmity and armed struggles will arouse or the present condition where murders and destruction will last to unlimited time. This is due to the nature of the Iraqi people which contains grudge, malice, deceit, betrayal and killing. Arabs and Iraqis did not union in the past but instead they form small countries depending on Persecution, robbery and violence and it has a psychological, militarily and political origin based on selfishness, apartheid, and deceit, eradication of truth and events plus using metaphorical slogans. I am sure they don't believe in the real solidarity based on system, law and to live peacefully with others either from their tribe, relatives or other races. So unity is not a slogan but it is an idea crystallized in their minds to be merging unity, conspiracy unity, deceit unity, dictatorial unity, authority union, isolation unity, fortune unity or unity of autocracy in taking fateful decisions. Those are types of Arabs unions which are the result of historical and psychological complications, disbelief and insisting to violate morals, humanity laws and creator justice. The American foreign politic in the modern era do a good work when it topples the autocratic system of Sadam and encouraging Iraqis to have fair and honest elections and put a modern and civilized constitution to gather all the nation under one ceil of justice and equality. We can say that the first step of the thousand miles was successful but it sinks in the ocean of deceive, enmity and conspiracy of the killers because they misunderstood the federalism, the best meaning of the unity and social & political solidarity, and thought it means separation and partition which proves their stupidity and narrow minded. So the Iraqi modern project clashed with the disasters of Iraqi mind, Police Headquarters, people with power and their assistants inside and outside, corruptive of the neighboring countries which divide into: 1. Countries afraid of the new Iraqi system that based on justice, freedom and equality such as Saudi Arabia and the gulf countries except Kuwait. 2. Countries confused due to the change and losing their financial and logistic support and afraid of Iraqi investors return to their stable country as Jordan, north Yemen, Sudan and some mercenary political parties in the other Arabian countries. 3. Countries afraid of American military intervention in their national affairs and hope to beat Americans such as Syria, Iran, Lebanon and some other countries. There are interventions and penetrations from other foreign countries like Israel that have slogan of "from Euphrates to Nile is your promised land, Israel" So they aim to keep Iraq torn in order to gain benefits, power, control, possession and oversight for Zionism which is not realized by many people. We conclude that Iraq war is not managed by Al-Qaeda as Arabs, Americans and Iraqis use their name just to hide truth. Iraqis must believe in the new constitution, admit their defeat, surrender to the reality and don't be a member in the civil war or fight with the Americans and the other foreign forces in order to prevent bloodshed and try to take advantage of these forces to update the security & military system hoping to have peaceful coexistence for a while or even forever till the main causes disappear as Germany and Japan did before. They must also demand dropping debts, having compensations for the physical and psychological damage that occurred during wars and destruct Iraqi people and lands, getting back Iraqi money that belongs to the previous system from abroad to start construction, building and developing in order to join the convoy of science, knowledge and civilization. In addition to reunion and combat illiteracy and poverty, they should preserve the residue sources to avoid being used in army and wars as what happened before. This is already done now but in a new trend as building fences and walls plus other security projects inside and at the borderlines. If Iraqis don't avoid the past and present crimes and sins, this will lead to more killing disasters, poverty, divisions, dispersion, economic and social problems, environmental and psychological problems and many other problems. Because the reality, in the past and present, give us proves that truth and morality are being murdered not only in Iraq but also in other neighboring countries. So if Jesus or the Waited Mahdi appears, they will be eaten by lions, hyena, foxes and wolves of Iraq plus vipers of the region.

One day my dears, the wolf and the fox stood at the door of their SIR. Their eyes were dim, legs were shaky, faces were yellowish and their bodies were fatty. The road to the castle is like the road to the cemetery. In the castle there is no difference between the living and the dead. A Sultan’s dove came from above. It asked itself, "What purpose brought the wolf and the fox together!". Both of them conspired against each other. The Sultan came to assemble and separate them in his way. This tableau is repetitive every day, except one day, when the dove died.

Abdulwadod took the needle and injected the camel. In order to determine whither or not to return Palestine from today until the final Day of Judgment. Abduwadod let people sleep on the Masod’s bed, which is made from wood and leaves and to glorify the Lord of humans, pray and prostrate on the people of the Cave Doctrine. This is the wisdom that new generations inherit from their ancestors.

The dove of the peace is singing for the children of tent camps for the victory of truth over mendacity, falseness and darkness, and also for the convergence of love and harmony. Over in a corner the dove of peace is flapping her wings to wake up the sleepers in our Jerusalem and all lands, where the people adore and love the children’s innocence. The children who are victims of oppression, violence and apartheid, those who dream for security and life far from Sharon’s gun and his dreadful voice.

The dilemma of Yemenite students has been starting and ongoing for decades. It is that have committed these vices and crimes by the tyrants' regime with his dark, undeveloped and backward mentality. The branches of state security and military as well as civil institutions implemented these vices and crimes. Their aim and objective is to manipulate, destruct and drain the brain in order to monopolize the power and governance. They also intend to exploit and manage the national wealth randomly, obscurely and violently. This tragedy is old and still ongoing. What has changed is there are new tools and implementations, which they used against students as well as citizens. The strategies and mechanisms, as well as tactics used include violent oppression, as well as various forms of psychological warfare, including economic, political and social. This is done both openly and in secret. Therefore, their seasoning and poisons change as they continue to destroy the spirit and flesh. Before and after the era of the Yemenite Imams, custody of education was banned and denied and no more modern schools or universities were built. However, in the modern-day of Republic, they have been opening the educational institutions and establishments. But, they have also been converting these important organizations into military barracks, combings and security organizations. They were managed by oppression, murder, violence, terrorism and crimes. This results in producing the same or worse qualities as before. Both of the regimes have justified and explained their conduct to preserve the religion and law. Although, the truth is to prevent and prohibit understanding, and the giving of citizens their civil rights, as well as claiming on the urbanization. Therefore, they have been destroying the mind, which is their main purpose. For instance, in the republican era of the 1970's, the methods and styles of killing, murdering and assassinating evolved and increased. They practiced numerous crimes, including detention and house arrest, pursuit, harassment and killing. As a result of that, students emigrated, were killed or imprisoned, become disabled or committed suicide, or lost their mental health. The regime claimed that all of these things have been done to protect the religion, which is originally lost and damaged. The regime still believes that science and knowledge are dangerous things and their first enemy, so they fabricate and prepared the accusations for liberals, intellectuals and cadres. For example, they accuse them that they are the ally of global socialism on Arab and Islamic systems, so they accuse them of national and humanitarian treason, in addition they accused them of religious treason, therefore, they consulted the religious people to have the permission of killing them. Then, they judged them and killed them due to the yuppies protocols of darkness. They killed them, aiming to stop the wheel of development and the preservation of the minority interests and their selfishness and aggressive authority. The situation has not improved at the end of the 1970's, 1980's or after the theoretical unifying the country, which was announced on May 22, 1990. So, they used the students as black sheep in civil wars or wars against the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen. Their aim was to eliminate them because they carried the light and education as well as that they are from the Al-Hojaria region or Taiz or central regions. By doing so, they protect the army because most of the army is from Zaidiyyah tribes. This act is the omnipotent proof of their racism, crime and brutality. This dilemma of students' problems involves racial and sectarian nature inherent in the mind of the obscurantist. Their future plans for the students is for calamity because the students' sin that they are the lovers of science, knowledge and life with its virtues, and because they are prophets and messengers of civilization, justice and equality. The quantity and quality of scholarship is distributed for associates and affiliates, far from the standard of honest competition, rates and skills. What remains is distributed to the students to eliminate them from the country for a period of up to four or five years, in order to lose their productive and active age. Then, they return after graduation to the dark judgments of being baath, socialist, nationalist or islamist or imperialist or other accusations for leaving the country or facing the death. These accusations, which are trumped up and fabricated , are used to ban the educated from being involved in the system. They eliminate them of participation in decision-making. Despite that, the state soldiers, army units and rulers have relations and cooperation with the Russians, the Arabs and the Americans among others. In addition, the state does not possess or consider of real developmental programmes. The problems of removing the salaries and scholarships of the students is a deliberated case and also part of terrible, frightening, and brutal corruption, which is widespread in the state's institutions and appears not only at schools, ministries, institutions of education but also in the Ministry of Finance, Foreign Affairs, embassies and other government's organs apparatuses associated with mentioned organizations. A bribe is necessary in the regime and is a part of its behaviour and doctrine. The exploitation of positions is easy and natural, so the regime gains money and it protects only its individual interests. It also assaults the rights by looting and banditry, where salaries, scholarships and fees of students are deposited in foreign banks for three months and their benefits go for gangs in the diplomatic corps in embassies. It also cuts off a small amount e.g. two dollars from each student. They explain that the exchange rates of the dollar against the riyal are in change. This is disgraced work, because the salaries of students sent reinforcements to the embassies of the full amount, and the announced information to students according to a law of Education and Higher Education Ministries under the issue of foreign mission said to payment of scholarships in American Dollars and in advance. We also see the corruption and inequality that there are students that have four salaries and they are delegated from more than one ministry. On the other hand, we observe students drop proceedings under the omission or defect in the computer, the case omissions and imbalance lasts for three or four years. The policy of cutting off students' or the staff salaries is a statement that is taken from the proverb hunger you dog he follows you. Further more, before you became attacked you should start your attack in order to stop them of asking and struggling for their civil rights and providing the equality and equitable distribution of wealth for all, as well as stopping students from participation in decision-making. Hence, full surrounding is a duty under the principle attacked before they are preparing for confrontation. The objective of starvation also is a psychological preparation to create new conditions to extort students and use them for inhuman jobs. In addition, to sell them in the local, regional and international slave market. The Yemenite modern system based on begging and trading land, honour and rights. They sell themselves and he who sells himself is easy for him to sell others under the slogans of parties or tribes or national and international cooperation. Sales and piracy reached even for children, the God's loved, and the sale of the governor for himself, his groups and citizens are done in different ways according to their laws they legalize everything, so, there are spiritual, physical and psychological sale. They are specialist and expert in this field, moreover; they have implementations. The most important thing for them is money. Their ignorance and stupidity make them blind to see the wealth in the land and people, and they do not know how to manage them to benefit from its' eggs, milks, fruits and brains. So they sell the expensive things to earn the cheaper, which is the money, which they spend it for their selfish purpose. By this behaviour, attitude and mentality all is lost. Recently, they cut off and banned the students from their scholarships as well as jobs and privileges and they distributed and gave only for those who want to give. They kill students by their hands as well as across international criminal mafias. Hence, many students have disappeared or lived without any human emotional feelings. The condition of students is a tragedy in abroad and inside the country. They are in between a rock and a hard place. Where does your train drive and lead science, the homeland and us? The followed solutions by the corrupt regime are a palliative for a short time by sending delegates from the ministries for disguising. Nobody gains anything from the followed procedures of solving the dilemma of student except the delegates, who benefit from travel allowance, the leeway and spend their objectives. Finally, they declare through their false media that the problem is solved and they eliminate corruption and spoilers. Although the solutions must begin at home and no need for traveling, the delegates from the ministries are the useless people of knowledge and science and are gainless and deadly. I am neither pessimistic nor optimistic, but pessoptimist, and when the train starts working for the establishment the state of institutions and law my optimism will achieve the optimum and maximum. There is nothing good comes by the unfair and corrupt as well as their institutions. For instance, in the embassies there are diplomats, who are murderers and the government protect them, they are fugitive from other tribes, because the revenge is a legal things in the state. In addition, embassies is full of sorts of whom are blind, prostitutes and thieves, who believe in the doctrine of vice. This is the same-called technocrat from the ruling and those who are illegal investments internationally and dealing with other nations Mafiosi. They fled laundering and criminals in the eyes of the world and even mafias. They become with their nations money in a history and in dilemma. Certainly, the end such these groups are the dustbin of history. Problems after graduation are harsher and worse than before graduation. Some of absolvents had harm and hard life, so few of them immigrate and most of them accept inappropriate jobs, which are not related to their level of education, morality and ethics. When the absolvents morally fall, they become psychologically able to do anything and become acceptable be the authority too, unless he will be thrown into unknown determination to face million harmful obstacles as well as brutal and wild characters. To homeland, students, scientists and citizens the almighty God says "help one another in goodness and piety, and do not help one another in sin and aggression". We do not have any choice except fighting and struggling. Both ways are the best thing for the emancipation of where we are, and God and humanitarian law gives us the rights to proceed. Brother, sons and, friend, student, professor's partners, farmers and workers we should in solidarity working together to better ourselves and homeland. My brother student in life and path you need only to demand full rights for yourself as human beings and citizens. If your only demand for salary and scholarship it is what the corrupt authority wants, and it is not going to give you it or deliberate and debate with you of it. So, demand your full rights to get a part of it. Finally, you must hitch you wagon to a star, stand up with the voice of the people, which is the voice of God and strike while the iron is hot. Brother, student and teacher this is your case and it is in your hands to absorb and understand it. If you believe in what it contents then, you should spread and distribute it to all Yemenite students in the World as well as to students' unions, federations and associations of Arab World and the globe. In addition to international human rights organizations. This is the first step in the journey of a thousand miles.

1.The Sleeplessness and Reunion In your love the sleeplessness and I are companions. There is always a reunion and hugs in the sleeplessness. In your love the sleeplessness and I are friends. There is always food and virtues. In your love the sleeplessness and I are tormented. There is always piety, devout, preachment prophecy, hope, miracle and fairness of God. In your love the sleeplessness and I are joining together to alert. In sleeplessness there are memories of nights, surprising and pleasant. 2. Lunar Thought When the moon falls, my soul and spirit ask my where is the escape? The wind is blowing, the snow is snowing and the sky is raining. When is falling and the sky is raining. The summer prospers like the lion with his thick and natty hair, and the winter is shining with his borrowed whiteness. Is it true that you are the moon and that you possess an attractive face like a human, or are you flaming with light and carrying harm, and in your gusts danger? 3. The Gorgeousness She is beautiful like a full-grown palm tree in the garden. The birds on the branches are singing, and the rose bush and the basil are dancing for her. In her heavens are fabulous and spectacular things that compel people and the universe to glory and worship her beautiful features and strands. The bees are rushing and assembling to drain and smell her nectar and perfumes, and to make a honey for healthy and ailing people. 4. The Beauty She is a beautiful like a graceful deer. But she is suffering from injustice for centuries, overwhelmed by burdens on her shoulders, wearing draggers around her waists to stop the hunger of her stomachs. She is a gorgeous, called the Happy Land, but she is blind. 5.The Happy Man I am the flower and the florescence. I am not only the agriculture, but also the rain. I do not believe in killing either humans or cows. I object to the use of illegal drugs and gossip. I object to selling either my consciousness or others consciousnesses. I object to open my pocket to illegal money. I am fond of the sun and I prospect to the moon. I am the green, red, white and all the others rainbow colors when the sun shines on the dew after the rain. 6. The Innocence and the Naughtiness or Satanic quotes I am seeking my lost love and I found that you are the reason you are cold of love, adoration and sex. My love is refusable and it likes the refusers. Be rebellious for me to love. I want to see in you the wittiness of the innocent devil. In your breasts there is a revolution, it is a whisper in my ear Beware of the breasts’ revolution? Do you like the rain? and do you accept to come and play with me under the rain as we were children. Perhaps a little of rain will wake you up. You were naughty, and I loved you naughty? For your lips had a history for me. Do you remember! I will remind you. They say it’s the silence of the lips, but it is the coldness of its on you. Pardon, that I had remembered that you are cold.

Spirit of Opulence!

THE SPIRIT OF OPULENCEBy Thomas Troward, Excerpt from “The Hidden Power”“It is quite a mistake to suppose that we must restrict and stint ourselves inorder to develop greater power or usefulness. This is to form the conception ofthe Divine Power as so limited that the best use we can make of it is by a policy ofself-starvation, whether material or mental. Of course, if we believe that someform of self-starvation is necessary to our producing good work, then so long aswe entertain this belief the fact actually is so for us.But all this exists in, and is produced by, our belief; and when we come toexamine the grounds of this belief we shall find that it rests upon an entiremisapprehension of the nature of our own power. If we clearly realize that the creative power in ourselves is unlimited, then thereis no reason for limiting the extent to which we may enjoy what we can create bymeans of it. Where we are drawing from the infinite we need never be afraid of taking morethan our share. That is not where the danger lies. The danger is in not sufficiently realizingour own richness, and in looking upon the externalized products of our creativepower as being the true riches instead of the creative power of spirit itself. If we avoid this error, there is no need to limit ourselves in taking what we willfrom the infinite storehouse: “All things are yours.” And the way to avoid thiserror is by realizing that the true wealth is in identifying ourselves with the spirit ofopulence. We must be opulent in our thought. Do not “think money,” as such, forit is only one means of opulence; but think opulence, that is, largely, generously, liberally, and you will find that the means of realizing this thought will flow to youfrom all quarters, whether as money or as a hundred other things not to be reckonedin cash.We must not make ourselves dependent on any particular form of wealth, orinsist on its coming to us through some particular channel—that is at once toimpose a limitation, and to shut out other forms of wealth and to close otherchannels; but we must enter into the spirit of it.Now the spirit is Life, and throughout the universe Life ultimately consists incirculation, whether within the physical body of the individual or on the scale ofthe entire solar system; and circulation means a continual flowing around, andthe spirit of opulence is no exception to this universal law of all life. When once this principle becomes clear to us, we shall see that our attentionshould be directed rather to the giving than the receiving. We must look upon ourselves, not as misers’ chests to be kept locked for ourown benefit, but as centres of distribution; and the better we fulfil our function assuch centres the greater will be the corresponding inflow. If we choke the outletthe current must slacken, and a full and free flow can be obtained only by keepingit open. The spirit of opulence—the opulent mode of thought, that is—consists incultivating the feeling that we possess all sorts of riches which we can bestowupon others, and which we can bestow liberally because by this very action weopen the way for still greater supplies to flow in.But you say, “I am short of money, I hardly know how to pay for necessaries. What have I to give? The answer is that we must always start from the pointwhere we are; and if your wealth at the present moment is not abundant on thematerial plane, you need not trouble to start on that plane. There are other sortsof wealth, still more valuable, on the spiritual and intellectual planes, which youcan give; and you can start from this point and practise the spirit of opulence, even though your balance at the bank may be nil. And then the universal law ofattraction will begin to assert itself. You will not only begin to experience an inflowon the spiritual and intellectual planes, but it will extend itself to the material plane also.If you have realized the spirit of opulence you cannot help drawing to yourselfmaterial good, as well as that higher wealth which is not to be measured by amoney standard; and because you truly understand the spirit of opulence you willneither affect to despise this form of good, nor will you attribute to it a value thatdoes not belong to it; but you will coordinate it with your other more interior formsof wealth so as to make it the material instrument in smoothing the way for theirmore perfect expression. Used thus, with understanding of the relation which itbears to spiritual and intellectual wealth, material wealth becomes one with them ,and is no more to be shunned and feared than it is to be sought for its own sake.It is not money, but the love of money, that is the root of evil; and the spirit ofopulence is precisely the attitude of mind which is furthest removed from the loveof money for its own sake. It does not believe in money. What it does believe inis the generous feeling which is the intuitive recognition of the great law ofcirculation, which does not in any undertaking make its first question, How mucham I going to get by it? but, How much am I going to do by it? And making this thefirst question, the getting will flow in with a generous profusion, and with aspontaneousness and rightness of direction that are absent when our first thoughtis of receiving only.We are not called upon to give what we have not yet got and to run into debt;but we are to give liberally of what we have, with the knowledge that by so doingwe are setting the law of circulation to work, and as this law brings us greater andgreater inflows of every kind of good, so our out-giving will increase, not bydepriving ourselves of any expansion of our own life that we may desire, but byfinding that every expansion makes us the more powerful instruments for expandingthe life of others. “Live and let live” is the motto of the true opulence.”How POWERFUL is that?

Kelly was also nominated for several other awards. Steve Martin wrote in his welcome letter “ Doubt defined as to be uncertain about; consider questionable or unlikely; hesitate to believe. To distrust. A man hiking in the woods fell and hit his head on a rock. His arm was broken and was bleeding. Dazed and confused he wandered aimlessly in search of rescue. As doubt about his survival set in he happened upon a bridge where his doubt turned to hope for on the other side of the bridge stood a hospital. With his first step the plank under his foot cracked and gave way and the bridge began to swing. Immediately the man stepped back. Doubt had returned. The help he needed was on the other side of a bridge whose structural integrity was now in doubt. Should he attempt to cross and the bridge collapse there would be no doubt about his death in the rocky cavern below. Doubt had him paralyzed with fear as he stood gazing across the bridge at that which could save him. We, to many people are a bridge. It’s our integrity that gives confidence to those who need to rely on us. Every word and every action work to establish or diminish doubt. Therefore, let us live our lives to obliterate for others the lives in us.

M.T. Al-Mansouri, Ph.D., The Paris-Jerusalem's Executive Editorial Secretary, Ottawa, CANADA: The book entitled" Lester B. Pearson " , which was written by Andrew Cohen, the journalist and the associate professor at the School of Journalism and Communication and the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University in Ottawa. A review and reading of a biography of the Late Prime Minister of Canada at the Army Officers’ Mess at 149 Somerset St. West. The author was questioned by audience, and comments were added by Her Excellency Ingrid Iremark, the Ambassador of Sweden, and by His Excellency Tor Berntin Naess, the Ambassador of Norway. The admission was free, and jacket and tie were necessary clothing. The Book was published by Penguin Group ( Canada), and printed in the U.S.A. It costs 25 Canadian Dollars, tax included. The introduction was written by John Ralston Saul, the essayist, who has a growing reputation as a thinker. Andrew Cohen, does not criticize the decisions of Lester B. Pearson about nuclear tipped missiles in Canada, installed and controlled by the United Sates of America. Lester B. Pearson laid the groundwork for the creation of the state of Israel in 1947. During the crisis of 1956 when, the United Kingdom, France and “Israel” attacked Egypt, also Pearson proposed and sponsored the resolution, which created the United Nations Emergency Force to police that area aiming to protect the new Zionist State. These are the reasons that Andrew Cohen supported Pearson. Pierre Elliott Trudeau , said Pearson was a “ defrocked priest of peace” because of this policy. According to The Nobel Prize.Org: Lester Bowles Pearson (April 23, 1897-1972) has been noted for his diplomatic sensitivity, his political acumen, and his personal popularity. He is affectionately called «Mike», a nickname given to him by his flying instructor in World War I, who discarded «Lester» as being insufficiently bellicose. Born in Toronto of Irish stock on both sides of his family, he received a balanced education in politics, learning the conservative position from his father, a Methodist minister, and the liberal from his mother. Pearson entered Victoria College at the University of Toronto in 1913 at the age of sixteen. Too young to enlist as a private when Canada declared war in 1914, he volunteered to serve with a hospital unit sponsored by the University. After two years in England, Egypt, and Greece, he was commissioned and transferred eventually to the Royal Flying Corps, but, sustaining some injuries from two accidents, one of them a plane crash, he was invalided home. He served as a training instructor for the rest of the war, meanwhile continuing his studies at the University. He received his degree in 1919 and then worked for two years for Armour and Company, a meat processing firm; years later he said, with the wit for which he is renowned, that the Russians were claiming he had once worked for an armament manufacturer. Returning to academic life, Pearson won a two-year fellowship and enrolled at Oxford University. There he excelled not only in his chosen field of history where he received the bachelor and master degrees, but also in athletics where he won his blues in lacrosse and ice hockey. In 1924 Pearson joined the staff of the History Department of the University of Toronto, leaving it and academic life in 1928 to accept a position as first secretary in the Canadian Department of External Affairs. In this post until 1935, Pearson received an education in domestic economic affairs while «on loan»; in 1931 as secretary to a commission on wheat futures and during 1934-1935 as secretary of a commission investigating commodity prices; the same post provided him with an apprenticeship in international diplomacy when he participated in the Hague Conference on Codification of International Law(1930), the London Naval Conference (1930), the Geneva World Disarmament Conference (1933-1934), another London Naval Conference (1935), and in sessions of the League of Nations (1935). Pearson moved forward rapidly. From 1935 to 1941 he served in the office of the High Commissioner for Canada in London; in May, 1941, he was appointed assistant undersecretary of state for External Affairs at Ottawa; in June, 1942, named minister-counselor at the Canadian Legation in Washington; in July, 1944, promoted to the rank of minister plenipotentiary and in January, 1945, to the rank of ambassador. During his Washington stay, Pearson participated in the establishment of the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration (UNRRA) in 1943 and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) 1943-1945; in the Dumbarton Oaks Conference on preliminary discussion for an organization of united nations (1944); and in the San Francisco Conference on the establishment of the UN (1945). Pearson took over the post of undersecretary of state for External Affairs in the fall of 1946, but gave it up two years later for the possibility of action in a larger arena. In that year, Louis S. St. Laurent, the secretary of state, became prime minister of a Liberal government, replacing his retiring leader, Mackenzie King. Pearson, having conducted a successful campaign for a seat in the Commons to represent the Algoma East riding of Ontario, was given the External Affairs portfolio, holding it for nine years until the advent of John Diefenbaker's Conservative government. Pearson drafted the speech in which Prime Minister St. Laurent proposed the establishment of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), signed the enabling treaty in 1949, headed the Canadian delegation to NATO until 1957, and functioned as chairman of the NATO Council in 1951-1952. Pearson also headed the Canadian delegation to the UN from 1946 to 1956, being elected to the presidency of the Seventh Session of the General Assembly in 1952-1953. As chairman of the General Assembly's Special Committee on Palestine, he laid the groundwork for the creation of the state of Israel in 1947. In the Suez crisis of 1956, when the United Kingdom, France, and Israel invaded Egyptian territory, Pearson proposed and sponsored the resolution which created a United Nations Emergency Force to police that area, thus permitting the invading nations to withdraw with a minimum loss of face. When the Liberals were defeated in the elections of 1957, Pearson relinquished his cabinet post but, accepting that of leader of the Opposition, began to rebuild the party. Six years later, when the Conservative government lost the confidence of the electorate, especially on the issues raised by the Cuban confrontations between the United States and Russia, and when Pearson, after a careful review of his philosophical position on national defence, announced his willingness to accept nuclear warheads from the United States, the Liberal Party was voted enough strength to establish a government with Pearson as prime minister. In control for five years, Pearson pursued a bipartisan foreign policy based on a philosophy of internationalism. In domestic policy he implemented programs long discussed but never adopted; among them, in the field of social legislation: provisions for old age pensions, medical care, and a generalized «war on poverty»; in education: governmental assistance for higher education and technical and vocational education; in governmental operations: redistribution of electoral districts and reformation of legislative procedures. The most acrimonious debate of his half-decade in office centered on legislation to create a new flag for Canada. This legislation became the battlefield of the Conservatives, who wanted some portion of the design to recognize the traditions of the past, versus the Liberals, who wanted to eliminate historical symbols. The Liberals won and the new flag was raised on February 15, 1965. Pearson retired from the leadership of his party in the spring of 1968 and died in 1972.

M.T. Al-Mansouri,Ph.D. , Ottawa, Canada. The Fringe Festival brings to the public, a plethora of comic, absurd and experimental theatre. Each year in Ottawa, Canada, the the annual Feringe Festival is celebrated. This year the Festival is held from June 18th until the 28. What is The Fringe? A Fringe Festival is a forum that unites artists and audiences in a fun, exploratory environment. The guiding principles of the Fringe include unrestricted artistic expression, accessibility and community development. The Fringe encourages artists to explore and test boundaries and make bold choices in the creation of art. The Canadian Fringe Festival model is unique in two respects: it guarantees that the artists, performers and musicians involved receive 100% of ticket revenue and it does not subject the artists’ work to jury approval or censor it in any way. Theatre companies are selected by non-judicial means and work within the technical guidelines of the Fringe Festival to produce their own art. Festival patrons enjoy physically and financially accessible arts experiences and the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogues with artist and fellow Fringe patrons.. Founded in 1997, the Ottawa Fringe Festival has enjoyed consistent growth over the years and now includes 15 venues in the heart of the National Capital. The our licensed outdoor venue on the corner of Daly and Waller - serves as the heart of the Fringe and features nightly musical guests. It’s the best place to meet performers, catch the buzz on hot Fringe shows and see previews for other performances.. History Fringe Festivals trace their roots to Scotland in 1947 when several theatre companies not invited to participate in the first Edinburgh International Festival staged their shows on “the fringe” of the official venues, setting up wherever they could find space, finding audiences by word of mouth and succeeding or failing on the strength of their talents alone. The Fringe’s mandate is to afford all artists the opportunity to produce their art, regardless of experience, content, form or style; and to make the event as affordable and accessible as possible for the community. The result is a vibrant and exciting artistic environment where the audiences - not juries - decide which are the good shows, the bad shows, the extravagantly awful shows. Embracing this spirit of artistic freedom, the first North American Fringe Festival was established in Edmonton in 1982. Audiences were wildly enthusiastic and the Edmonton Fringe is now second only to the Edinburgh Festival in size. Encouraged by this tremendous success, many cities across Canada and United States created Fringe Festivals of their own, each with its own distinctive style, but all adhering to the principles of accessibility, affordability and artistic daring. The Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals The Ottawa Fringe Festival is a member of the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals (CAFF) (www.fringefestivals.com). CAFF has established a set of guidelines and philosophies to which each Fringe Festival must adhere. Fringe Festival performers are selected in a non-juried process, and the Festival exercises no control over the artistic content of the performances. In addition, 100% of ticket revenue is returned directly to the artists themselves. CAFF currently has 24 members, including 7 American Fringes. Each year, the CAFF touring circuit provides more than 800 theatre companies with an opportunity to present their work in a supportive environment. This circuit appeals to the more than 795,000 people who attend Fringe Festivals in North America every year. This circuit allows for the continued evolution and development of artists and audiences from around the world. M.T. Al-Mansouri, Ph.D., the executive editorial secretary of PARIS JERUSALEM MAGAZINE is volunteering for this unique and creative institution since 2008.
