ذات يوم وفي الصباح الباكر أعتلى الديك تلاََ فنادى وقال ,, قف ياصديقي , فلقد شب حريقاًَ في الطريق الضيق. فوصلت النار الى باب المضيق. فانصهرت المعادن ومنها الحديد وكذلك العقيق. فهلل القوم وأرتفعت الهتافات وكثر التصفيق. ثم تغيرت الساعات والدقائق. واقتتل الاخ والشقيق على البنزين والمعونات والزيت والدقيق. ففرح العدو وحزن الصديق والرفيق. وأزدادت حالة الوفيات بفيروس كرونا وقل الشهيق, في زمن الحجر الصحي وزمن الجفاء والضيق.،، ثم ختم الديك الحكاية بندائه المعتاد قيقي قيق.
